    President's Letter

    Greetings SMPS’rs!

    Well to say that things have changed since our last newsletter would be quite the understatement. Who would have thought our world would be turned so upside down just 3 months ago.

    As we find ourselves just a month or so into this new normal that is telework, I want to remind you that your SMPS Kentucky Chapter is here to serve. Much like marketing, the importance of professional development never goes away. We are blessed with a vast library of online learning tools for you to take advantage of that will help you sharpen your skills. SMPS National has also gone out of their way to provide online learning with no extra cost.

    I am so excited that RedFox Media has agreed to partner with us for a 7-part online series on how you can “Boost Your Content with Video Marketing”.  We are very fortunate they are sharing their expertise with us at NO CHARGE.

    As membership renewals come your way, I encourage you to stay with us, to keep striving to be the best marketer that you can be. I also want to point out our wonderful sponsors that are shown on the left side of the page. We could not do it without you and we are currently creating new ways to lift you up and give you exposure for your sponsorship.

    If I may borrow a daily statement from our Governor. “We will get through this; we will get through this together.

    Announcing Our New Associates at RossTarrant Architects

    We are excited to announce the well-deserved promotions of four leaders at our firm. The following staff members have been named Associates:

     

    Michael Neureither, AIA, LEED AP has been with RossTarrant Architects for nearly eight years. A talented designer and project manager, Michael leads P-12 and higher education projects for clients in Kentucky and West Virginia.

     

     

    Chris Gipson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C joined RossTarrant Architects in 2006. A project manager with specialized expertise in dining space design, Chris works on higher education and P-12 projects nationwide.

     

     

    Brian Buckner, AIA, ALEP, LEED AP has been a member of the RossTarrant Architects team for 13 years. Brian’s passion for educational facility design led him to become the only Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) in Kentucky in 2019.

     

    Greg Hosfield, AIA, LEED AP BD+C joined RossTarrant Architects 8 years ago and has established himself as an exceptional project manager with a particular passion for athletics facility design. Greg’s work with both higher education and P-12 clients has made him an invaluable asset to the RTA team.


    We are extremely happy for all four of these professionals and look forward to seeing the results of their leadership in the years to come.
